He&#8217;s not afraid to jump off things, climb up things and &#8211; as we&#8217;re about to see, dive <em>into<\/em> things to get the pictures he needs. He&#8217;s been subjected the hottest heat of the desert and the freezing extremes of Antarctica. But in this newest photo set, he dove down beyond the sea&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1832\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Deep-Sea-Diving-1.jpg\" alt=\"Deep Sea Diving \" width=\"933\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>More than a hundred feet down under the surface of waters off the coast of Mexico, Anatoly found himself deep in the\u00a0cenotes of the Yucat\u00e1n Peninsula.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1833\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Deep-Sea-Diving-2.jpg\" alt=\"Deep Sea Diving \" width=\"941\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A cenote is a sink hole. They&#8217;re created when something like a cave collapses in on itself. A natural pit full of water, these particular cenotes are famous in the area for their association with the Ancient Mayans. And their ritualized sacrifices.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1834\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Deep-Sea-Diving-3.jpg\" alt=\"Deep Sea Diving \" width=\"944\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Beloschin decide he wanted to get pictures of a particular underwater pit &#8211; The Angelita Cenote. Angelita is more than 200 feet down and has a bizarre subterranean atmosphere and feel like nowhere else on Earth.<\/p>\n<p>But even more bizarre? He found a river. Underwater!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1835\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Deep-Sea-Diving-4.jpg\" alt=\"Deep Sea Diving \" width=\"936\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Okay, it&#8217;s not technically a river &#8211; but it certainly looks like one. It&#8217;s actually a naturally-occurring phenomenon known as a &#8216;halocline&#8217;. When waters of different salt densities meet, they separate. Like when you put water and oil together. That&#8217;s not salt-based, but the appearance is the same &#8211; the two different liquids do not mix together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1836\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Deep-Sea-Diving-5.jpg\" alt=\"Deep Sea Diving \" width=\"933\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;river&#8217; is way saltier that then water above it.
