Now you might not know the song,\u00a0\u201cYou\u2019ll Never Know\u201d by Rosemary Clooney and\u00a0Harry James. But once you watch this touching clip, it might well end up being your favorite song of all time. It’s a favorite of Laura and Howard’s. Married for 73, this pair have been inseparable for their whole marriage<\/a>. Even when Howard was stationed abroad during the war, their love kept them firmly together. And Howard’s singing of “You’ll Never Know” was one thing guaranteed to tug at his beloved wife’s heartstrings.<\/p>\n

And so it’s the most wonderful and emotional thing to see the pair, now in their mid-90’s, still very much in love. But time takes its toll. Laura is dying. She’s now blind <\/a>due to macular degeneration. But she’s not deaf. So on her deathbed, given just a week to live by the doctors, Howard knows one surefire way to cheer her up. He’s going to sing to her…<\/p>\n

But before you weep too much – we’ve some good news. This video was filmed weeks ago and Laura is still with us<\/a>. In fact, doctors were happy enough to let her leave hospital <\/a>to live out her remaining days at home<\/a> with the love of her life.<\/p>\n
