Animal rights activist group People for the<\/strong> Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)<\/strong><\/em> are known for courting controversy in their marketing and advertising campaigns. But they’ve gone one better with their latest advertisement, seeing it BANNED<\/strong> <\/a><\/em>from being aired during the commercial<\/a> break at the Superbowl<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>as planned.<\/p>\n

In it, we see a pretty steamy couple of scenes, one a regular meat-eating couple getting down to business, the other a vegan couple getting it on. And, with the campaign being called ‘Vegans Last Longer’<\/em>, it’s all about the guy’s stamina. Apparently us<\/a> burger-eaters are suffering from a poor performance rating, time-wise. According to PETA<\/strong><\/em>, anyhow.<\/p>\n

TV broadcasters have deemed the ad ‘too explicit’<\/strong> to be aired during the breaks of the showdown between the Denver Broncos<\/strong><\/em> and Carolina Panthers<\/strong><\/em> during Superbowl 50<\/em><\/strong> on Sunday February 7th.
