Some of our favorite songs are cover versions. There’s actually more than you might think. Swing music from the ’50s – most of those were covers. Soul and Motown classics, they were often recorded before the big one got famous. Like Aretha Franklin<\/em><\/strong>‘s Respect. That was an Otis Redding<\/em><\/strong> song. And, of course Adele’s Hello is an old Lionel Ritchie track…<\/p>\n

Okay, okay. That last one was a joke, but you get our point. We especially love cover versions that put a new spin on a track. Like, speaking of Adele<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, this reggae cover.<\/a><\/strong><\/em> A re-imagining. And we’ve got another great example here. It’s\u00a0Unchained Melody<\/em><\/strong>, a song originally performed by The Righteous Brothers<\/strong><\/em>.
