Seconds Later, He Pulls THIS Off His Neck\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Morissa<\/strong> <\/em>is a make-up artist and part-time <a href=\"http:\/\/boredombash.com\/hooters-waitress-donates-kidney\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Hooters<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>waitress from <strong><em>Phoenix, Arizona<\/em><\/strong>. One day, as she was walking through the parking lot into work she noticed a disheveled and hungry-looking man sat on the sidewalk outside her place of work. So she went over to him.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI helped him off the ground and linked his arm with mine. I introduced myself to Rick and explained that I worked here at Hooters and we would be happy to have him. I sat him down and told him he could order whatever he wanted, on me,\u201d<\/em> she wrote on <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/facebook-status-dad-leaves-family\/\">Facebook<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As the two new pals spoke, Rick told\u00a0Morissa his story.\u00a0He&#8217;s originally from Ohio and had recently been struck by a car. He couldn\u2019t afford to go to hospital as he had no insurance. In fact, he didn&#8217;t even have an ID card.\u00a0After Rick finished his meal,\u00a0he was so grateful, he reached into his shirt pocket and pulled out a gift for Morissa. To show his thanks. She was STUNNED as to what it was&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4317\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Homeless-Hooters-2.jpg\" alt=\"Homeless Hooters\" width=\"845\" height=\"845\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cToday when I pulled into work, I happened to glance into my rear view mirror and notice this man sitting on a curb across the street. His name is Rick. I walk up to him and ask if he\u2019s okay\u2026he barely mumbled a \u2018no\u2019 and looked down and started sobbing. I asked if he was hungry\u2026he said \u2018very.\u2019\u00a0I helped him off the ground and linked his arm with mine.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4318\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Homeless-Hooters-3.jpg\" alt=\"Homeless Hooters \" width=\"742\" height=\"743\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI introduced myself to Rick and explained that I worked here at Hooters and we would be happy to have him. I sat him down and told him he could order whatever he wanted, on me. Another table bought him a dessert. He was so grateful\u2026he told me he was here from Ohio and had been hit by a car, and he couldn\u2019t go to the hospital because he didn\u2019t have even an ID. He showed me his necklace, it has Phillipians 4:13 engraved on it. He was telling me how it was the only thing he had.\u00a0We cried together.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4316\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Homeless-Hooters-1.jpg\" alt=\"Homeless Hooters\" width=\"1163\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe finished up his meal and told me he would never forget my name, my face, and how I had given him hope again. I asked if it was okay if we took a picture together, he was delighted. He even pulled out a small comb and combed his beard for our picture\u2026so cute! As he goes to leave, he takes off his necklace and hands it to me, and told me he wanted me to have it. I was speechless. I still am.\u00a0This man gave me the only thing that had any value to him. That is a debt I will never be able to repay.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4319\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Homeless-Hooters-4.jpg\" alt=\"Homeless Hooters \" width=\"795\" height=\"783\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI will never forget Rick and the few moments we spent together.
