It&#8217;s owner, a 96 year old woman, has lived here for 72 years. However, due to her advancing years, she decided that it was time to sell the place she has called <a href=\"https:\/\/dailydigest.com\/garage-conversion-home-value-guide\/\">home<\/a> since 1944.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4561\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amazing-House-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Amazing House 1\" width=\"700\" height=\"502\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the <a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/16-terrible-real-estate-photos\/\">realtor<\/a> first arrived at the house, she expected nothing more than a normal, run of the mill suburban home. She couldn&#8217;t have been more wrong. The moment you step through the front door you are met with a stunning hallway decked with ornate features of pastel and gold.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4562\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amazing-House-2.jpeg\" alt=\"Amazing House 2\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You then enter into a stylish living room which perfectly encapsulates the decor of a 1950s American home.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4563\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amazing-House-3.jpeg\" alt=\"Amazing House 3\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next comes the dining room. Here we find an exquisite cream furniture set, offset against green carpet and curtains, and golden wallpaper.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4564\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amazing-House-4.jpeg\" alt=\"Amazing House 4\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The pastel tones continue in the kitchen, where pink is very much the order of the day! The flower pattern curtains, along with many of the textiles found in the house, were made by the owner herself &#8211; a seamstress by trade.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4565\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amazing-House-5.jpeg\" alt=\"Amazing House 5\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The pink theme extends to this beautiful little <a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/cheesy-egg-toast\/\">breakfast<\/a> nook. The perfect place to start your day!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4566\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amazing-House-6.jpeg\" alt=\"Amazing House 6\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Apparently the husband of the homeowner told his wife that she could decorate the house however she wished, so long as there was no pink in the bedroom.
