It was a hot day (of course!). As he strolled, he noticed something on the sidewalk. It was a tiny little blob. He didn&#8217;t know what it was. But when he bent down to investigate further, he realized it was a little baby animal&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The little thing needed love and care otherwise it would die on the hot sidewalk. So Jeff took it <a href=\"https:\/\/dailydigest.com\/garage-conversion-home-value-guide\/\">home<\/a> and looked after it. He called his new pal <em><strong>Biscuits<\/strong> <\/em>and went onto Reddit to try and find out what they little creature was. Turns out it was a\u00a0<em><strong>southern flying squirrel<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>People told him that Biscuits would likely die without her mother. But he persevered. And it&#8217;s a good job he did!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4829\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-1.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"825\" height=\"1100\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When he found Biscuits, she was just 3cm long&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4830\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-2.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"841\" height=\"1121\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Everyone was certain she&#8217;d die.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4831\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-3.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"873\" height=\"1164\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But she kept fighting.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4832\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-4.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"932\" height=\"1243\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And growing!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4833\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-5.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"801\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And GROWING!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4834\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-6.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"890\" height=\"950\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And even making new friends.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4835\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-7.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"801\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Soon, she got her own playpen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4837\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-9.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"801\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So adorable&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4838\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Squirrel-10.jpg\" alt=\"Squirrel \" width=\"807\" height=\"1076\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jeff&#8217;s taught her skills.
