Last month, Bruce Springsteen cancelled a gig in <a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/life-saving-donor\/\">North Carolina<\/a> after the state enacted a piece of legislation that required transgender to use bathrooms that corresponded to the sex indicated on their birth certificate. This piece of legislation, known as the &#8216;bathroom bill&#8217; was condemned by LGBT activists, as well as members of the wider public, worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>And now, a <a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/church-pizza-donation\/\">pizza restaurant<\/a> in Virginia has waded into the debate. Earlier this month, the owner of Windy City Pizza, who doesn&#8217;t wish to be named publicly, erected a sign that read \u201cWe have a men\u2019s room. We have a ladies room. If this confuses you, we can help!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5351\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Pizza-sign-main.jpg\" alt=\"Pizza sign main\" width=\"666\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The sign caused a bit of an outcry on <a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/facebook-status-dad-leaves-family\/\">social media<\/a>, as some people felt that the sign was offensive to transgender people. Others felt that the sign was just a bit of harmless <a href=\"https:\/\/dailydigest.com\/dancing-to-uptown-funk\/\">fun<\/a>, and should not be taken as an offensive gesture. The owner himself said that he\u00a0does not have a specific stance on the issue, but likes to post messages to stimulate conversation.
