They have since taken strong action in ending these kinds of pictures from being posted.<\/p>\n<p>Since the operation began, eight models have been arrested for their make-up and fashion selfies. The Tehran&#8217;s cybercrime court announced the arrests over the weekend and have claimed that they have identified a further 170 models, photographers and those involved in fashion, through the social media platform.\u00a0Despite the arrests however, many Iranian Instagrammers still remain active.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5390\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Elnaz-Golrokh-Instagram.png\" alt=\"Elnaz Golrokh Instagram\" width=\"726\" height=\"906\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5389\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Elnaz-Golrokh.png\" alt=\"Elnaz Golrokh\" width=\"783\" height=\"974\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One <em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/lingerie-model-without-legs-kanya-sesser\/\">model<\/a><\/span>,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<em><strong>Elham Arab<\/strong><\/em>, has been charged with &#8220;promoting western promiscuity&#8221; and appeared in front of the Iran&#8217;s revolutionary court earlier this week. Later, she was forced to give a public apology for her photographs.\u00a0She said in court:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAll people love beauty and fame. They would like to be seen, but it is important to know what price they will pay to be seen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5391\" src=\"http:\/\/dailydigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Melika-Zamani.png\" alt=\"Melika Zamani\" width=\"754\" height=\"710\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another model,\u00a0<em><strong>Melika Zamani<\/strong><\/em>, has also been targeted. Her Instagram account, that had a whopping\u00a0360,000 followers, has now been suspended.
